Each fall and spring our Connection Groups are committed to doing a service project as a practical way to demonstrate God's love to our community. In past semesters we've provided 350 bags of groceries to 120 different apartment residents, adopted several teenage moms from local high schools and partnered with "Safe Haven" of Ft. Worth and Southwest High School. In addition, groups have served various schools, nursing homes, needs in the community, and partnered with organizations such as Tarrant Area Food Bank and others.
In 2010, Christ Church is celebrating our 100 year anniversary. During the summer we are doing 100 ACTS OF SERVICE IN 100 DAYS TO CELEBRATE 100 YEARS. If you would like to participate in one of our service projects this summer, contact Christ Church at 817-292-9292.
